70th-Anniversary Congress registration opens tomorrow - Saturday 1 April
Wednesday 29 March 2017 12:03

Registration opens tomorrow, Saturday 1st April, for Liberal International’s 70th-anniversary congress which, with the adoption of a new manifesto, promises to be an historic coming together of Liberal political parties from around the world to define and promote a vision for liberalism and meet the global challenges of the twenty-first century.

Amid rising authoritarianism – from Hungary to the Philippines, from Turkey to the Democratic Republic of Congo – the liberal manifesto for the twenty-first century will be debated and presented in Andorra. The manifesto launch is the culmination of a two-year international consultation process designed to equip member parties with a starting point for a united, positive political path forward in the coming decades - galvanising our powerful Liberal alliance and promoting a strong political message.

Registrations can only be accepted via this link with a password obtained from a party’s, cooperating organisation’s, or partner’s international officer.

With voting and elections, interactive policy and best-practice workshops, dedicated networking events and more, the 70th-anniversary congress is a unique opportunity for Liberals of the world to exchange ideas, form new alliances, and advance their party’s presence on the international stage.
