Eusebio Ayala, Paraguay (1875-1942)
Eusebio Ayala was born in Barrero Grande, Paraguay in 1875. He is known as the President of Victory, owing to the fact that he governed during the country's war with Bolivia. He pursued war under a liberal regime and avoided leading the country into debt. Ayala was an advocate of Liberalism in the political and social systems and he believed that economic liberty was the key to peace and universal solidarity.
